Remove the existing battery and
replace with a new CR2 size 3V
Lithium battery making sure
that the positive and negative
connections of the battery are
in the correct position and that
the battery label is folded and
kept outside of the battery
aperture. The red LED on the test
button should now flash every
48 seconds to show the alarm is
active.

Replace the alarm on its
mounting ring. Position the
smoke alarm over the mounting
ring and turn clockwise you
should feel the alarm click into
place.
