Mounting the motor on the IEC B5/B14 flange:
Check that the tolerance of the motor shaft and the
motor flange comply with at least one „normal“
class of quality. Carefully clean off any trace of dirt
or paint from the shaft, the cetering diameter and
the face of the flange. Do not force the elctric motor
shaft into gearbox motor sleeve. If this is not
possible , stop assembly. Apply antioxdative
protection to the shaft in order to prevent freeting
corrosion. Good qualtiy motors should be used in
order to ensute that the unit works corrcetly,
without vibrations or noise. Befor mounting the unit
on the machine, check that the main shaft of the
reduction unit rotates in the right direction.
Servicing:
The high qualtiy finish of the internal parts ensure
that the unit will work correctly with only a
minimum amount of servicing. Generally speaking,
the following rules should be followed: periodically
check that the exterior of the assembly is clean,
especially in the cooling areas; periodically check
to see if there are any leaks, especially in the areas
around the sealing. Units that are lubricated for life
and thus do not have ay oil plugs do not require any
special maintenance expect as stated above.
Troubleshooting:
If any problems should arise when starting the unit
or during its first few hours of operation, contact the
after sales service dept. of ATM. The table shows
a series of problems with a description of possible
solutions.
It should be kept in mind however that the infor-
mation given is for reference only, as all the drives
manufactured by ATM are thoroughly tested and
checked before they leave the factory.
Please note that tampering with the assembly
without prioir authorization from ATM immediately
invalidates the warranty and often makes it
impossible to ascertain the causes of a defect or
malfunction.

Kontrolle der Toleranzen, der Flansch- und
Wellenmaße des Motors und des Getriebes.
Alle Verunreinigungen von Flansch und Welle
entfernen. Vermeidung jeglicher Kraft beim
Zusammensetzen der einzelnen Module.
Wenn dies nicht möglich, Montage stoppen.
Verwenden Sie antikorrosive Pasten um
Rostfraß zu vermeiden. Nur hochqualitative
Motoren gewährleisten einen reibungslosen
Betrieb. Beim Anschließen der Einheit achten
Sie auf die richtige Drehrichtung der
Getriebeabtriebswelle.
Ausführung:
Die hohe Fertigungsqualität der Teile garantieren
korrekte Funktion der Einheit ohne
Serviceaufwand. Im Allgemeinen sollten von Zeit
zu Zeit optische Kontrollen durchgeführt werden:
- Schmutzbelastung der Einheit
- Tritt Öl aus?
- Ist ein Ölverlust erkennbar?
Problembehebung:
Wenn, während der Inbetriebnahme Probleme
auftreten wenden Sie sich an die Technik von
ATM-ulmadrive GmbH.
