Description of the Safety Devices

The machine is turned on when connected to the main supply and the main switch
QS1 switched to ON position.  After approximately 1 minute when the heating
element has reached its operating temperature, the machine is ready for use.

The machine is switched on and off with the main switch QS1 which is located on
the machine front operating panel.

If it is necessary to make adjustments inside the machine during operation, for example
after a strap jam, the table top can be unscrewed. In this case the safety switch B6
cuts off a the supply voltage to the power supply unit and to the heating controller on
all poles.
Then all electrical circuits as well as the power boards are de-energized.  As soon as the
problem has been eliminated the table can be closed and the machine can be operated
again.
