After your computer restarts, Windows

and Play Monitor” procedure. Follow the on-screen instructions
to complete the setup.
You are now ready to install the enhanced ATI drivers and software.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to complete the
installation.
Installing Enhanced Drivers and the
ATI PLAYER for Windows

With Windows

95 or Windows

98 running on your computer, you
need to install the enhanced ATI drivers to take advantage of your
card’s higher performance, resolutions, and special features. You can
also install the ATI PLAYER–a software multimedia player. The
ATI PLAYER provides full-screen MPEG video playback with
excellent color quality, plus a host of advanced multimedia features.
To ensure that you install the latest drivers, install the ATI enhanced
drivers located on the CD-ROM shipped with your graphics
accelerator card.

Insert the ATI INSTALLATION CD-ROM into your CD-ROM
drive.
If Windows
®
runs the CD-ROM automatically, proceed to step 5.

Click Start.

Select Run.

Type the following:
D:\ATISETUP
(If D is not your CD-ROM drive, substitute D with the correct drive
letter.)

Click on Easy Install to begin the Installation Wizard.

Follow the Wizard’s on-screen instructions to complete the
installation.
For correct resolution and refresh rate operation, you need to select a
display device. You may also want to change the color palette from
256 colors (the default) to a higher number of colors. For instructions,
