Abrasive
cut
‐
off
wheels
are
intended
for
peripheral
grinding,
side
forces
applied
to
these
wheels
may
cause
them
to
shatter.

undamaged
wheel
flanges
that
are
of
correct
size
and
shape
for
your
selected
wheel.
Proper
wheel
flanges
support
the
wheel
thus
reducing
the
possibility
of
wheel
breakage.
Flanges
for
cut
‐
off
wheels

different
from
grinding
wheel
flanges.

Do
not
use
worn
down
wheels
from
larger
power
tools.
Wheel
intended
for
larger
power
tool
is
not
suitable
for
the
higher
speed
of

smaller
tool

ADDITIONAL
SAFETY
REGULATIONS
Always
use
proper
guard
with
grinding
wheel.
A
guard
protects
operator
from
broken
wheel
fragments.
Accessories
must
be
rated
for
at
least
the
speed
recommended
on
the
tool
warning
label.
Wheels
and
other
accessories
running
over
rated
speed
can
fly
apart
and
cause
injury.
Hold
tool
by
insulated
gripping
surfaces
when
performing
an
operation
where
the
cutting
tools

contact
hidden
wiring

“live”
wire
will
make
exposed
metal

stop

off.

work

of
marked
or
greater.

correct
bore
size
for

spindle

power
cord
well
away
from

area

position
the
cord

that
it
will
not

caught
in

work
piece
