With MEdia™ Net, you can get the information that is important 
to you at a glance. Check local weather, your team scores or 
movie listings with just a few clicks.

 Browsing  

 1. From standby, select menu > MEdia™ Net.

 2. Choose More > Go to.

 3. Choose Bookmark to create a bookmark 
 

or Enter Address to type in a URL.

 4. To exit, press        .

Walkman®

No need for a separate music player – it’s all in your phone.  
Shake things up to randomly play songs from the album or 
playlist you are enjoying.

To play a song

1.  From standby, press the WALKMAN         > 
 

More > My Music.

2.  Scroll to an option and select Open.

To move between tracks

 •  Press       or       .

To use Shake control

Shake your phone and it will randomly pick 
and play a song in the album or playlist you 
are listening to.

•  With the Walkman turned on, press and 
 

hold down the Walkman key and shake 

 the 

phone.

Playing Music

Listen to music from your favorite artists right from 
your device. 

To play music

1.  From standby, press the WALKMAN key > 
 

More > My Music.

2.  Scroll to an option and select Open.

To stop playing music

 •  Select Stop.

To resume playing music

 •  Select Play.

To listen to music that you have transferred to 
your device, follow these quick easy steps.

Transferring Music

Transfer Music

 

1.  Insert a memory card into the phone and open Windows® Explorer 
 on 

your 

computer.

2.  Connect the phone to your computer using a USB cable. If the phone 
 

is on, select File Transfer on your phone. If the Found New Hardware 

 

wizard appears on your computer, click CANCEL to exit. Your memory 

 

card is added as a removable disk in Windows® Explorer. 

3.  Locate a music file on your computer using Windows Explorer.  
 

Select multiple files by pressing Shift or Ctrl and clicking the files. 

4.  Drag and drop the file(s) onto your phone.

Create a Playlist

 

Enhance your Walkman® experience by creating a playlist.
1.  From Standby select menu > AT&T Music > WALKMAN > More > 
 

My Music > Playlists > New Playlist and select Add. 

2.  Enter a name and select OK.
3.  Scroll to the Tracks to add and select Mark for each track.
4.  Select Add to include the marked tracks on the Playlist.

Your phone is not just for talking. You can also listen 
to music from your favorite artists on your phone.

 Do not disconnect phone while the transfer is in progress.

 Windows® 2000 with SP3/SP4, Windows XP (Pro and Home) with SP1/SP2 or Windows Vista.

Note:

 For additional information on transferring music, refer to the User Manual.  The number of files you can store 

depends on the size and format options of the memory card.

Music News & Info

1.  From standby, select Menu >      > The Buzz.

MusicID

1.  From standby, select Menu >      > MusicID.

2.  Select ID song!, then hold the phone up 
 

to the music source. MusicID will then 

 

analyze the tune and give you the song title.
