6.1.2.3 Installing/Replacing Batteries
The siren has two non-rechargeable CR123 batteries as a backup power supply. The
batteries can be replaced by removing the unit from the wall and opening the battery
compartment located on the rear of the unit.

Wireless Device Controller is a 915MHz two-
way device that is used to control AC power to small appliances, such as a lamp (See
Figure 40 and Figure 41). The unit is plugged directly into one socket of an AC power
outlet. Then install the retaining screw into the plastic tab located at the top of the unit to
secure the unit to the AC outlet.
