Chapter 2

2.4 Installing Drivers for Windows CE

The ASUS SpaceLink WLAN Card drivers can be installed in Windows CE
3.0 or later device. ActiveSync must be installed in your Windows com-
puter (desktop or Notebook PC).

1. Connect the Pocket PC to your computer. Once it detects the link,

ActiveSync window will open.

2. Insert the ASUS SpaceLink PC Card support CD into your computer.

3. From the autorun menu, click Installation for Windows CE. You may

also run SpaceLink.exe from the “WinCE” folder in the support CD.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

5. Perform a soft reset of you Windows CE device.

6. Insert the ASUS SpaceLink PC Card into your Windows CE device.

7. Enter the network settings when prompted.

2.5 Installing Drivers for Linux

Linux users must browse to the “Linux” folder in the support CD. For de-
tailed information, refer to “Readme.txt” in the same folder.
