ASTONSERVER installation does not start up automatically
•
Click “Start” (at the bottom left of the computer screen) then on
“My Computer” or “Workstation”.
•
When the new window opens, double-click ASTONSERVER.exe.
•
Follow the instructions.
The firewall prevents installation of ASTONSERVER on the computer
•
Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Windows firewall”.
•
A new window opens, click the ASTONSERVER icon.
•
Click “delete” to deactivate the firewall.
•
Run the ASTONSERVER programme by clicking on the icon.
N.B., the firewall will only be unblocked for the ASTONSERVER application.

Perform a factory reset to reconfigure your TV multimedia player.
I am changing Wi-Fi network
The TV multimedia player automatically asks you what Wi-Fi network
you want to connect to.
Where do I find the Hex or ASCII mode key?
The Hex or ASCII keys correspond to a password for securing your Wi-Fi network.
Normally this is given to you by your ADSL provider in the user manual as a barcode.
•
The ASCII mode key comprises 10 or 26 characters (numbers and letters).
•
The hex mode key comprises 5 to 64 hexadecimal digits.
The TV multimedia player does not detect a server
•
Check your cable network or Wi-Fi connection.
•
Check the ASTONSERVER software is correctly installed on the connected
computer(s).
•
Restart the TV multimedia player.
