Setting up Windows to start up the UpdaterBox after boot.
The VCOM software and the UpdaterBox software must be running at all times.
If not, the Mini Updater will not work!
The VCOM software is by default configured to startup when Windows starts.
No further action must be taken for the VCOM program.
You need to test this functionality by rebooting Windows and see if the VCOM software starts automatically.
For the UpdaterBox, we need to create an shortcut and place this in the Windows startup folder.
First we create the shortcut by right clicking on the UpdaterBox1.exe file and selecting create shortcut.
Change the name of the shortcut to the same name as the folder and the Updater Name.
Now we open the startup folder of Windows by selecting the Start menu, selecting All Programs, searching for the startup
folder and right clicking on the Startup folder and selecting Open.
We can now copy the Updater shortcut to the Startup folder.
If you have multiple Mini Updaters, repeat the steps in point 5 for every Mini Updater.
Then close all programs and reboot the PC and check if the VCOM and the UpdaterBox startup as expected.
