Emergency unlocking

If, for example, the batteries for the lock run out,
the  normal  opening  function  will  not  work.  Even
if this happens, the lock can always be unlocked.

Emergency unlocking from inside using the knob

Turn the knob in the open direction until the knob
is horizontal. Hold the knob in this position while
pressing the handle down.

Emergency unlocking from outside with 9V battery

Power the lock by connecting a 9V battery, from
the  outside,  to  the  poles  on  the  bottom  edge.
Then hold your key tag up to the lock to unlock it.

Low battery warning &

battery replacement

The lock will give a warning signal well before the
batteries run out. Two types of low battery warn-
ing  are  given:  a  spoken  message  when  the  lock
is unlocked or locked, and a low battery warning
symbol that lights up on the outside of the lock.

To  replace  the  batteries,  open  the  battery  cover
and remove the old batteries. Then insert four new
batteries.
Make sure to insert each battery the correct way
round (+ & -).
Always use AA alkaline batteries.
