6. Mainte nance of motor l ocks
Follow this manual th oroughly to mainta in
characteri stics of the motor l ock.
Do not diverge from this manual without advice
from ASSA .
Warranty fails i f pr oduct is:
- Wrong installed
- Opened by una uthorised personnel (broken se al) or
if cables/connectors ha s been cu t
- Fitted with accessories or parts not recommended
by ASSA
Maintenance:
Approximately twice a year, a sma ll amount of
designated grease should be applied on latc hes and
bolts. Hi ghly freque nted doors may need mai ntena nce
with s horter in tervals.
- Electric parts need NO maintenance
- To main tain desired operation and securit y lev el of
inst alled u nit , it is of great import ance t o ch eck an d
adjust the en tire door environment:
- Lock case an d strike plate
- Lock accessories (Lever handle, thumb tur n etc .)
- Hing es, f ramew ork and door th reshold ( sill)
- Door closer
NB!
Never use lubricants cont aining graphit e or
solvent, use desi gnat ed grease from ASSA only.
If an y uncert ainty regarding in stalla tion , main ten an ce
or warranty occurs, please contact ASSA or yo ur local
supplier.
