Technology) feature. Coniguration options: [Disabled] and [Enabled].

SATA Controller

Use this item to enable or disable SATA Controller.

SATA Mode Selection

Use this to select SATA mode. Coniguration options: [Disabled], [IDE], [AHCI] and [RAID

] mode. he default value is [AHCI ].

AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) supports NCQ and other new features that will
improve SATA disk performance but IDE mode does not have these advantages.
