Normally for the adjustment a value of about 5x to 10x the internal resistance
of the generator ( the cartridge ) should be used.
Most common MC cartridges have values between 4 to 25 Ohms,
so we recommend resistance values between 20 and 250 Ohms.
We know from experience that when you are using an adjustment with a
lower input resistance
the soundstage is
deeper
and is more
precise
, but the
dynamic
gets
lower
.
