Maintenance

The RMC is a sealed unit and does not require regular maintenance to operate. Depending on
environmental conditions the air inlet could become fouled with dust and debris. This condition will
cause the RMC to operate inefficiently and potentially over-heat and shut down. The inlets to the RMC
(on the front and side faces) should be cleaned periodically with a damp cloth when the system is non-
operational.

The RMC contains an internal coolant filter which should not need to be changed if coolant remains
pure. However, if flow becomes reduced over time, it may be because the internal filter has become

fouled. Please contact Aspen should you suspect this filter has been fouled, and Aspen’s applications

engineers can help diagnose if the filter may need replacement.
