Use USB Bus Power
1.
If your host device has USB 3.0 ports available, both battery
charging and regular operation can be supported by the
USB bus power without using the provided external power
supply.
2.
If only USB 2.0 is available in your host device, you must
use the provided power supply as the power source. The
available power of standard USB2.0 ports is
not enough
to
support both battery charging and regular operation
simultaneously.
3.
If you want to use the USB Bus Power feature
AND
you can
connect the cradle to a USB 3.0 port, slide the USB bus
power switch underneath the cradle to “ON”. Then
connect the cradle to the host device USB 3.0 port via the
USB cable.
