RS-485 Connector Wiring 

The ClassNet Terminal is fitted with two RJ-45 connectors, which are 
wired to suit standard CAT5 computer network cables.  The two RJ-45 
connectors are wired in parallel to facilitate the daisy-chain wiring 
scheme that the ClassNet Terminal network requires.  As noted above, 
the ClassNet Terminal 

CANNOT

 be 

connected to an Ethernet network.
