Flash card
The Flash card is replaced together with the mainboard and normally does not
have to be removed separately. Exceptions:
•
Updating the PBX boot software (see
).
•
A system defect (e.g. mainboard) can make it impossible to read out unstored
configuration data with AIMS. In such cases the data can be saved using a new
mainboard.

Replacing the Flash Card
Required tool: Torx screwdriver, size Torx T 10
Procedure:
1.
If still possible, save the configuration data using AIMS (

→
Backup
).

Dismantle the PBX cover, then the cover to the power supply area.
4.
Remove old Flash card.
5.
Take the new Flash card out of its ESD protective sleeve and fit it into the same
system slot on the PBX (
). Make sure that the side notch on the connector
tab is pointing towards the socket outlet.

Fit the cover to the power supply area, and the housing cover
7.
Connect the PBX and any ATPS system to the 230 V mains, then connect the UPS
battery where applicable.
