Tips for safe use
Signals may only be connected to one of the inputs if the
device is powered on!
If a signal is applied and the device is off,
damage to the input circuitry may occur.
Do not connect any voltage source to the input! Doing so will
damage the input circuitry! Only measure resistance in-circuit if
all capacitors are discharged.
Make sure the Device Under Test can handle the test current,
which is 100mA in the 24 Ohm range and 10mA in the 240 Ohm
range. The dissipated power should not exceed the limits of the
DUT to prevent it from being damaged.
Especially with very small resistors in the Milliohm range, their
value can change a significant amount with temperature. Even the
heat from your hand while connecting them may affect the reading.
Let it cool for a few seconds in this case.
