6.3.1. Mod Envelope Poly
The two modulation envelopes have the capability of being triggered in either single-trigger
or poly-trigger mode.
• When Poly is off, each time you play a key, it will retrigger the mod envelope for
all notes being played.
• When Poly is lit, each note being played will complete its own envelope without
regard to any other notes that are being played.
For example, suppose you assign Mod 1 to Pitch of Line 1 in the Mod Matrix. Mod 1's envelope
has a long rise sending the pitch sharp.
• If Poly is off, each time you play and hold a note the Mod 1 envelope will retrigger,
sending all notes being played sharp by the same amount, maintaining their
harmonic relationship.
• If Poly is on, and you play successive notes of a chord, the notes will
independently bend according to the time they were played, and will be out of
tune until all envelopes reach their sustain point.
