7.3 Firmware Upgrade

RPM located in /opt/bladeservices/rom location contains BIOS and CPLD
firmware.
fcu
RPM provides utilities to query and upgrade the BIOS and CPLD firmware. The
commands used to query, upgrade, and verify the firmware are provided below. The FCU utility
is available in the
/opt/services/bin directory.
7.3.1 BIOS Upgrade
If you want to know the current BIOS version before upgrading it with a new version, use the
following command.
$ fcu -q
The following screen shows a typical output when the above command is executed.
