Select Preserve Configuration to preserve the network configuration (IP,
username, password, DHCP, VLAN).

Click Enter Update Mode and follow the wizard through the upgrade. Select
Full Flash check box to perform a complete firmware upgrade always.
2. Upgrade the Companion CPLD
You can skip this step, if the Companion CPLD firmware already has the most recent
version. For more information, refer to
MaxCore MC3000 Release Notes .
Use the following command to upgrade the IO-CPLD.
./ipmitool –I lan –H 192.168.201.9 –U admin –P admin hpm
upgrade mc3000-cpld-companion-0.2.6.hpm component 3 force
3. Upgrade the Glue CPLD
You can skip this step, if the Glue CPLD firmware already has the most recent
version.
Use the following command to upgrade the Glue CPLD.

In any case, if you observe that the firmware upgrade fails, repeat the firmware
upgrade procedure again

Firmware upgrade progress is not seen immediately. As the first step, the ipmitool
loads the firmware image into the BMC. This may take some time (~30sec).
In the next step, the
ipmitool states
Writing firmware: 100% completed. Please do not stop execution at this point,
ipmitool is still working!
Wait until the following message appears “Firmware upgrade procedure
successful” (~2min).
