Connecting Cables
Use this procedure to connect the Telephony Modem to power and networks.

Connector Pinouts
The Telephone connector provides 8 lines of POTS (2-wire) telephone ser-
vice. Three adaptors are available:
• The RJ-21X adaptor connects the Telephony Modem to a punch-down
block. The following diagram shows the pinout of the RJ-21X tele-
phone connector.
