To prevent vibrations, we recommend ensuring a sufficient distance from other devices in the filter basin.
Always make sure that the pump remains fully submerged in the water.
When using biopellets, the outlet should be located in the immediate vicinity of the protein skimmer. This will enable excess bacteria
mass to be removed reliably.
Connect the mains plug of the pump to your power supply.
Carefully open the ventilation valve (upper closure) so that the reactor can completely fill with water. But make sure that no filter material
escapes.
Clean the reactor regularly with warm tap water, using a sponge. Do not use cleaning agents!
The Sicce Syncra Silent pump used is very low maintenance and highly reliable. However, you should check its operation regularly and
clean the impeller as well as the pump inlet and outlet, if necessary.
Biopellets can clump together in the first few days. These clumps can be removed by switching the pump off and on or shaking the
reactor gently.
Each device is tested thoroughly before delivery. If a problem nevertheless occurs, which cannot be solved by consulting the operating
instructions, please ask your specialist dealer or contact us directly.
