Charging the Battery

General

• The charger converts mains voltage to low 

DC voltage.

• The charger must only be used for

 

Arjo-

Huntleigh battery 

NDA

0100.

• The charger is ready for use as soon as it is 

plugged in.

• Disconnect the mains by unplugging the 

charger.

• A orange indicator LED indicates that the 

charger is ready for charging, there is no 
On/Off button on the charger.

Charging intervals

• To prolong life of batteries, charge at regu-

lar intervals.

• If the ArjoHuntleigh product is used fre-

quently, its recommended to use two batter-
ies, one in operation and one being charged.

WARNING

Do NOT charge the battery in a sealed 
compartment due to fire hazard.

CAUTION

To avoid breaking the charger when 
unplugging the battery connector: 
Grip the plug and don’t pull the cord.

NOTE

The battery can be left in the charger unit 
even if it is fully charged without being 
overcharged.

Charging procedure

1 Plug in the charger in a power outlet
2 Attach the battery to the charger.

3 The mains indicator LED will stay orange 

during the charge.

4 Once the battery is charged the orange 

charge indicator LED will turn from orange 
to green.
