Weekly
- Inspect the attachment of the spreader bar to the jib. Inspect the sling attachment points for damage. Check the
spreader bar pivot point for any possible damage, such as protruding plastic, for example.
- Check the full range of hoist movement by raising and lowering it. Test the opening and closing of the chassis
legs. All functions must operate as they should and without defects.
Annually
- Maintenance on the
Minstrel
must be carried out in accordance with the preventive maintenance schedule.
Have the following actions be carried out by qualified staff, who use the correct tools and know the applicable
maintenance procedure. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in physical injury and / or an unsafe aid.
All work that is the caregiver's responsibility must be checked by a qualified ArjoHuntleigh technician when
servicing is carried out.

The M12 nut and bolt that attach the spreader bar to the scales
do not have to be tightened. The nut and bolt fastening is held
in place by a hair pin cotter.

Inspect all major parts for corrosion and damage.
