1. Break out the hole for the pry-off tamper (Figure 1, item 3)
in the base of the detector (item 4).
2. Use the base as a template for marking the position of the
screw (item 2) in the wall.
3. Affix screw (item 2) to the wall.
4. Affix ST400 (item 5) to the base (item 4) using the smaller
screw (item 6).
5. Adjust screw (item 2) so that the ST400 switch closes
when the base is in its final position.
6. Install the detector following the mounting instructions.
7. Connect the ST400 in tamper loop as shown in Figure 2.
