ARGUS 145
PLUS
<Log>PC>
:
The ARGUS will send the trace file to the
connected PC, which must be running
WINplus or WINanalyse. The data will be
saved in the standard "pcap" format and
can be decoded with a freeware program
(e.g. Wireshark). The setting “Data Log”
must be set to “on” before starting test. In
Bridge and Router mode, two log files will
be loaded to the PC, one for the WAN and
one for the LAN side.
A new single test can be started since the
xDSL connection and the protocol are still
setup (to clear the connection down, press
<Stop>
in the ARGUS State display).
IP ping – Error messages
If an error occurs, the ARGUS will display
an error message.
For a description of the error messages,
please see the appendix.
<Yes>
The ARGUS will save the result
of the IP ping test in the first
available memory location in
the internal memory (see
page 331).
<Stat.>
Depending on the access
mode and protocol, the
ARGUS will display the BRAS,
IP, PPP, WAN, ATM or LAN
statistics.
<DSL>
Display
the xDSL connection
parameters, trace data, bit
