Safety instructions
IMPORTANT: KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Safety notice:
- It is recommended only to use the bed rail for children between 18 months and 5 years.
- Only use the bed rail when the child is able to climb in and out of the bed unaided.
- The bed rail must not be used as a substitute for a cot, as it cannot provide the same level
of safety.
- Do not use the bed rail in cribs or on sleeping surfaces more than 60 cm above the floor.
- The bed rail must only be used on a mattress with a thickness between 80-230 millimeter.
- Do not use the bed rail unless the fixings are in place.
- Secure check carefully all locking mechanisms and fixings.
- Periodically check all locking mechanisms and fixings.
- Always make sure to fit the bed rail so that it touches the side of the mattress when in the
locked position or when placed in the fitted position.
- Make sure child’s fingers/toes are clear away when in use to avoid potential pinching.
- Do not use this product if any parts damaged.
- Only order additional or replacement parts from manufacturer.
- The bed rail is made in conformity with the requirements: BS 7972:2001+A1:2009.
Warning:
- To prevent the risk of strangulation it is essential to ensure that the bed rail is fitted correctly
into position. There must be a gap of at least 25 cm (10 inches) between each end of the
bed and the corresponding end of the bed rail.
- The length of the mattress must be between 150-200cm with the width being 75 or 90cm.
