WAY OF USING
While cutting maximum amounts of sheets of paper at a time, it is also recommended to
cut smaller amounts of paper, thus allowing self-sharpening of blade through contact of
the blade with the counterblade. There is a rule in all guillotines – the bigger amount of
sheets cut at a time – the smaller quality of cutting.
OPERATION
1. Place the guillotine on a stable, horizontal surface.
2. Carefully loosen the blade from the security lock and lift the blade up to
the maximum position.
NOTE!
- automatic sheet-pressing system causes tension in horizontal posi-
tion and may cause recoil of the blade when loosening the blade from the security
lock.
3. Put the paper down on the guillotine, along the vertical slide.
4. Press the paper with your left hand and lower the blade with your right hand.
5. Secure the blade into security block, when the guillotine is not used.
MAINTENANCE
You may clean the guillotine with a dry rag. Never use solvents or water. From time to time
you may oil the blade with silicone fluid or liquid vaseline, using the rag. It will guarantee
the smooth work of knives and will protect the steel from rust.
MALFUNTION
If any faults should appear, please pass the machine along with the warranty card to the
seller or closest authorised dealer. The machine might be passed further, thus the user
should maintain the original and complete packaging. In cases when the machine is
passed for repair in a not original or incomplete package, the risks of further damages that
might arise in transportation are on the user's side. Thus, in such a case, it is in the user's
best interest to make the best possible replacement packaging.
