8. In the unlikely event that the trim buttons are not sufficient to center the
control surfaces, use a pair of needle-nose pliers to open or close the gap in
the U-section of the pushrod to achieve the same result.
9. Check that the rudder operates in the correct direction. Moving the aileron
stick to the left should cause the rudder to move left in response. Right
aileron stick will move the rudder to the right.
10. Check that the elevator operates in the correct direction. Pulling the
elevator stick back should cause the elevator to move up in response.
Pushing the elevator stick forward should cause the elevator to move down
in response.
