4. Initial use
Remove the kettle and the base station out of the packaging and connect the base
to a properly installed earthed socket.
Wipe the surface of the kettle using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any
manufacturing residues, fill the water container once with cold water up to the
maximum mark before using it for the first time. Boil the water by pressing the
"100°C" button
and then pressing the "ON / OFF" button
at the top of the base
station. Discard the water after the initial boiling.
This appliance is intended for domestic use and similar applications such as: In staff
kitchens in shops, offices and other business areas, in agricultural properties, by
customers in hotels, motels and other residential facilities as well as B&Bs.
