This hand-held mixer is equipped with self-deactivating carbon brushes. The machine will 

switch off automatically when the brushes are worn down to a certain level. Refer to the 
instructions for replacement as shown below.  

Replacing the carbon brushes of the motor 

 

Loosen the two brush holders (8) on the sides of the motor housing using a screwdriver.  

 

Remove the worn-out brushes and replace them with new ones.  

 

Tighten the brush holders (8), ensuring that the brushes are fixed securely. Also, keep the air 

slots (4) free of dirt and residue so that the machine can cool down sufficiently.
