Troubleshooting
The device does not start.
- Air filter dirty.
- Fuel filter blocked.
- Lack of fuel supply.
- Fuel line fault.
- Starting device is defective.
- Engine has sunk.
- Spark plug connector not
plugged on.
- No ignition spark.
- Motor defective.
- Carburettor defective.
- Clean/replace air filter.
- Clean or replace fuel filter.
- Fill it up.
- Check fuel line for kinks or
damage.
- Check launch device.
- Remove spark plug, clean
and dry; then pull the starter
cable several times; reinstall
spark plug.
- Check spark plug connector
for correct seating.
- Clean or replace spark plug.
- Check ignition cable for
damage.
- Check engine.
- Check carburretor.
The device starts up and
dies.
- Incorrect carburettor setting.
- Check idle speed.
Motor starts, but cutting
tool remains stationary.
- Cutting tool blocked.
- Internal error.
- Coupling defective.
- Switch off the motor and
remove the object.
- Check drive shaft and
gearbox.
- Check coupling.
Device stutters (works with
interruptions).
- Carburettor is set incorrectly.
- Spark plug is sooty.
- On/off switch defective.
- Check idle speed.
- Clean or replace spark plug.
- Contact Service Center.
Smoke development.
- Incorrect fuel mixture.
- Carburettor is set incorrectly.
- Using a two-stroke mixture
with a 40:1 power ratio.
- Check idle speed.
Device does not operate at
full power.
- Machine is overloaded.
- Air filter is dirty.
- Carburettor is set incorrectly
- Silencer clogged.
- Do not press with force
during mowing/trimming.
- Clean or replace air filter.
- Check idle speed.
- Check exhaust.
The brush cutter does not
work at full power.
- Cutting knife blunt or
damaged.
- Cut material too high (device
overload).
- Sharpen or replace cutting
blades.
- Cut grass gradually.
Cutting thread is not guided
to
- Thread bobbin empty.
- Replace thread bobbin.
The high caliper does not
saw, pluck or vibrate.
- Chain tension too high.
- Chain blunt, incorrectly
mounted or worn.
- Check and adjust chain
tension.
- Have the chain sharpened,
reassemble or replace.
