1. INTRODUCTION

 The TPIs 2T is a module of 2 logic inputs, extra narrow (7.2mm) designed 

for DIN rail mounting.

 It belongs necessarily to a local network made up of  converters and/or  

output modules.

  The status of its 2 inputs, as well as the result of a logical «or» or «and» 

between its 2 inputs can be associated with the converter or with the output 

module to perform several functions (eg.: direct driving of a relay, zero reset 

of alarm recording, etc.)

 Each converter or module is fixed on the DIN rail via a 5 points footing which 

allows the communication and the supply of the TPIs of the network (24Vdc 

±30%).

 

  Up to 50 TPIs can be connected on the same bus and up to 200 different 

measures can be made to transit ; In this configuration the maximum scan-

ning time is 200ms.

 The programming is performed via the µUSB connector located on the front 

face, which is to be connected to a computer of the type PC equipped with 

the software SlimSet.
