TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL DEPILATION
Scrubbing
Scrubbing is a necessary step for successful hair removal. Done
regularly, it: Prevents hair from growing back under the skin,
Removes dead cells and refines the texture of your skin.
Prepares your skin to help it absorb skin care products.
Scrubbing done once or twice a week maintains a healthy and
fresh skin. We recommend scrubbing ideally the day before hair
removal. The scrubbing will straighten the hair thereby helping
you to remove it, Avoid scrubbing just after hair removal.
Hair Removal
Your compact hair remover has 18 tweezers that work like many
small hair-removing tweezers. For perfect efficiency, we recom-
mend you use it on fairly short hair (0.5cm).
Before removing hair, we recommend taking a warm shower.
The warmth will help your pores dilate and thereby ease remov-
al of the hair. To remove hair successfully it is essential to look
closely at the direction in which the hair grows in the area where
hair is to be removed. It is important to move the depilation in
the direction opposite to that of the hair growth; failure to do
so could result in the hair being simply cut or being improperly
pulled and then it growing back under the skin. All methods of
hair removal at the root can lead to irritation (e.g. itching,dis-
comfort and reddening of the skin) depending on the condition
of the skin and hair. This is a normal reaction and should quickly
disappear. But it may be stronger when you are removing hair at
the root for the first few times or if you have sensitive skin.
Moisturizing
After hair removal, we recommend using a moisturizing lotion
for softing your skin. Apply the lotion then massage it in using
circular motions to help the skin absorb it.
