Operation (Double Cooling System)

    Check the functioning of the alarm buzzer every 2 months.
    If the alarm does not go off, please contact your sales agency.

Always lock the operation panel so that no person other than those in charge may operate it.
(Basically, it has a lock)

    The lifetime of the rechargeable batteries is about 3 years.
    2 single Ni-Cd batteries are used. Replace them when necessary.

When this switch is ‘on’, the display of the temperature controller comes on, and the freezer starts to
operate. When it is  ‘off ’         the controller display turns off, and the freezer stops its operation.

Power Switch

This switch is one to check that an option, auto cooling back-up system is functioning correctly. If the
button is pressed during normal operation (While back-up system S/W is on), back-up gas is sprayed.
Check the functioning every 2 months.

BAT CHECK (Button)

Use the voltage free external alarm contacts at the back of freezer for an external alarm. The
external alarm works when REMOTE switch is ON. Even if AL-1 switch is off, the external alarm
works. Output of the external alarm is sent out when the temperature alarm and / or the power
failure alarm works on the freezer.

REMOTE (Remote Switch)

The red lamp lights on when there is an electric problem (Compressor breakdown) in double cooling
system. lf AL-1 switch is on, the alarm buzzer goes off when AL-2 lamp comes on. When AL-2 lamp
is on, please contact the sales agency.
    Even if only one compressor is running, the temperature in the freezer is maintained at

approximately-130°C.

AL-2 (Alarm Lamp, Red)

This switch is used when an option, auto cooling back-up system  is installed.
This device sprays back-up gas to prevent damage to stored materials by an increase of the temperature
in the freezer due to power cut and/or compressor breakdown and  to maintain the temperature under
-150° C in case back-up gas is LN2 (for a certain time 5~6 hours).

   If an auto cooling back-up system is installed, be sure to open the valve of the cylinder while the freezer

is in operation and to turn on the back-up system S/W.

Back-up System Switch(Auto Cooling System)

If you turn on this switch, the alarm (Beeping sound) goes off  in the following cases:
     The alarm will sound for about 48 hours continuously with charged batteries even when there is no power

supply to the freezer. However, the batteries must be fully charged. (Charged for 5 days or longer.)

Example)

When the power is on first (It doesn’t sound unless charged enough, when you operate it to

charge it.;

  When the present value (PV) is 15 °C or more, higher than the set value (SV) ;
  In case of power failure, when the power plug is pulled out, or when the power switch is turned off;
  When a breakdown occurs in the double cooling system (See AL-2).
  The AL-1 switch should be on during freezer operation.
  To check if the alarm buzzer operates normally when it is operating normally, it is normal if the buzzer

sounds when you turn on the AL-1 switch and turn the power off.
