1. Place basin in desired location and outline area to be excavated.
4. Place paver base around basin leaving approximately 1” from top of
basin and compact.
5. Place paver sand up to top of basin and compact.
Note:
If installing bubbling fountains into a permeable paver patio
and filling the voids between paver blocks, use the micro-grid
geotextile layer (included) beneath the pavers sitting directly on top of
the basin. A small slit will need to be cut in the center of the geotextile
layer to allow pump plumbing to pass through and provide access to
the pump.
6. Place pump in bottom of the basin.
2. Excavate an additional 4-6” below excavation for paver base
depending on soil conditions. Compact bottom of hole to prevent
any unnecessary settling.
Note:
If installing directly into the ground,
excavate hole 16” deep, compact base, level unit, and back fill around
all sides
3. Place basin in hole and level front to back and side to side. Leveling
sand may be required.
