Instructions
STEP 1
• Assemble the AquaBasin
®
Mini by screwing the lid together.
Then, set the basin in your desired location for the fountain
(Ex. 1).
STEP 2
• Using a can of brightly-colored spray paint, trace around
the basin to outline the area. Then, using the traced
area as a guide, dig the hole roughly 1" deeper than the
AquaBasin
®
Mini (Ex. 2).
STEP 3
• Set the Aquabasin
®
in the excavation and use a level to make
sure it is level from side-to-side and front-to-back (Ex. 3).
NOTE:
If needed, a compacted material, such as sand, can
be used to provide an appropriate base for the basin.
STEP 4
• Thoroughly backfill the sides of the excavation with sand or
dirt to prevent any future shifting of the basin (Ex. 4). Then,
set the fountain on the AquaBasin
®
Mini.
STEP 5
• Connect the tubing/pipe to the included water pump and
submerge the water pump in the basin (Ex. 5).
STEP 6
• Add a layer of decorative pebbles to cover the basin, then
fill the basin using a garden hose or other clean water
source (Ex. 6).
STEP 7
• Plug the pump into a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)
rated receptacle and enjoy (Ex. 7).
Winterization
• In areas subject to freezing temperatures, the basin should
be drained and the fountain stored indoors or in a frost-free
location.
