BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Check the mains water pressure. The
pressure must not be below 1.5 Bar
(22 psi) or above 5.5 Bar (80 psi), test
measured during a high demand period
– (morning or lunch time). The optimum
pressure is 3 Bar (44psi).
The unit must be installed in an area
that is not susceptible to freezing.
Ensure that the filter installation area
is easily accessible for servicing.
Be careful when making the various
connections to the mains water supply
that the mains water stop valve is turned
off. Do not be tempted to over-tighten the
connections. It is only necessary to firmly
hand tighten then ¼ turn the connections
with a spanner to secure watertight seal.
Locate the existing cold-water supply pipe.
Shut off the mains water supply.
