Installation

1. Open the filter unit

2. Take the filter apart exposing media containers

3. Remove filter media from media container and rinse in tap water to remove excess dust. Rinse the inside of the

media container in tap water too. DO NOT USE ANY SOAPS OR DETERGENTS.

4. Once all filter media and media containers have been washed insert all the filter media back into the media

container in the correct order

5. Connect the elbow and spray bar to the filter for a more dispersed flow.

6. Attach the filter inside the aquarium in the desired location. Ensure the filter is not resting on the substrate nor

is it above the water level (straight outlet and spray bar may be above water level).

7. Plug filter into the power outlet and switch on.
