Assembly
1) Locate a flat, dry area with access to electrical outlet or extension cord. The
best setup position will also make launching easy, so ideally the Jungle Joe tube
should be carefully carried into position at the water’s edge. NOTE: Dragging
or sliding the Jungle Joe over ground either before or after inflation can cause
damage.
2) Once in the setup/ launch position, unfold the Jungle Joe completely and
locate the Main Valve. The Main Valve is located on the lower, blue section of
the product. See diagram for details.
3) Using a high output pump capable of reaching 1.6 psi (minimum), place the
inflation hose with proper adaptor into the Main Valve to inflate the main, blue
section of Jungle Joe.
Inflate to 2.0 psi (0,138 bar).
Check for proper air pres-
sure using a manometer. After inflation, replace Main valve cover. Inflation times
can vary by inflator, but the Jungle Joe should be firm and tight when completely
inflated.
DO NOT OVER-FILL.
Excessively high pressure can cause damage to the
product and may void the warranty. Carefully monitor air pressure in the product
especially during hot weather.
WARNING:
Do not use an air compressor to inflate tube. Air compressors are
designed for high pressure inflation and can cause tube to burst if over-inflated.
WARNING:
Do not use Jungle Joe without adequate air pressure -
1.6 p.s.i.
(0,110 bar) minimum
in the main bladder.
4) Next locate the Upper Valve found on the white upper tube near the main
valve. Follow the instructions and warnings found in Step #3 to properly inflate the
Upper section.
Inflate to 2.0 psi (0,138 bar).
Check for proper air pressure using
a manometer.
WARNING:
Do not use Jungle Joe without adequate air pressure -
1.6 p.s.i.
(0,110 bar) minimum
in the upper bladder.
5) Next locate the Slide Valve found on the slide’s blue sidewall. Follow the
instructions and warnings found in Step #3 to properly inflate the Slide.
Inflate to
1.2 psi (0,083 bar).
6) Depending on the application, some users may have purchased an optional
Swimstep or Runway boarding platform. If you have a boarding platform, connect
it now using the instructions provided with the accessory. NOTE: It is best to
attach such items while they are deflated. Once fully attached with Interloc straps,
then inflate.
7) To launch the product, make sure to have at least 6 people evenly spaced
around the product to help carry it. NEVER DRAG THE PRODUCT! YOU MUST
LIFT AND SET TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL TEARING AND/OR ABRASION.
