1.5.a Electrical Requirements

Locate the equipment disconnect as near to the heat pump as possible. Always satisfy applicable codes and
standards.

Never mount power-disconnects directly to the heat pump.
l
In sizing power wiring, be especially aware of up-sizing requirements necessary due to wiring distances. Always
satisfy applicable codes and standards.

AquaCal
®
heat pumps are designed to use copper conductors, only. Do not use aluminum wire.
l
If multiple heat pumps are on-site, confirm that the multiple heat pump configuration has been utilized.

attempting to start at the same time, causing an excessive power drop at start-up.
