Transfer Person

Lock the 2 rear wheel brakes during the transfer. Do not unlock the rear wheels for a transfer, as the
lift could then move and cause injury.

Lift one or both of the arm supports on the seat depending on the person.

Keep fingers and hands away from the two straps of the hoist during use.

Raise or lower the seat to get the correct height for the transfer.

Place the user on the seat ensuring that their body is centered on the seat.

Lower both of the arm supports on the seat.

Attach the safety belt.

If the user has a wheelchair, keep nearby for easy retrieval.

Transport to pool edge

Place down the braking carpet on pool edge and release rear brakes to move.

Don't position any further than 1m from pool edge. Position the uni-kart on the braking carpet.

Lock both rear wheel brakes

Keep fingers and hands away from the straps of the hoist during use.

The person is thus ready to be put in water.

Lowering into the water

Lower the seat down in the water with the hand winch by turning in the anti-clockwise direction.

Keep fingers and hands away from the straps of the hoist during use.
