3. General
Please take the necessary precautions when transporting the pump. Avoid intermediate storage in a damp
location or locations subject to signi
fi
cant temperature
fl
uctuations.
The device can only be used on motors with a starting capacitor with a
fi
xed speed. It must not be operated
if the cable is damaged. The manufacturer must be contacted.
We cannot accept any liability if our installation and operating instructions are disregarded or the device is
installed and used improperly.
To avoid damage to the existing motor, make sure that the Aqua Vario and the motor are compatible before
putting into operation. Contact the manufacturer or supplier if in doubt.

4. Installation
The device must be installed in a dry, well-aired place away from
direct sunlight.
The ambient temperature must be between -10 °C and 40 °C. The
installation surface must be
fi
rm and level. It may only be installed in
closed rooms.
Make sure by suitable measures that structure-borne or airborne
noise of the frequency inverter has no impermissible effect on the
environment.
Enough room must also be left at the top/bottom and to the left/right
to be able to remove the frequency inverter.
Caution
The power to the pump must be switched off at the main switch before installing the inverter. If a chlorine
dosing system is available, its power supply to the pump must also be cut off.
The wall holder on the Aqua Vario 1100 can be undone by the 6 screws on the sides. The wall holder has at
least 4 options for fastening holes. The holes must be marked on the wall
fi
rst before drilling. Fix the holder
to the wall using the screws provided. The frequency inverter must be held safe from falling whilst doing so.
Then, fasten the Aqua Vario 1100 to the holder with the 6 screws at the side.
