To facilitate access and to allow for the removal
of the sump tank if required, the aquarium stand
features two removable front supports. This should
rarely be required and is not intended that they are
removed regularly on a running aquarium.
Note that the stand is not designed to support
the full weight of water without the centre
supports.
DO NOT REMOVE THE SUPPORTS BEFORE
DRAINING MOST OF THE WATER FROM THE
AQUARIUM.
1. To remove the supports, first drain as much
water as possible. Failure to do this will make it
difficult to replace them and may cause damage
to the aquarium.
2. If you need to remove the left hand support,
you may wish to remove the door first. To do this,
undo the screw shown on both hinges and slide
the door out.
3. To remove the supports, first remove the screws
on the bottom and top plates of the support you
wish to remove.
4. Slide the support out. Take care not to
bump the sump tank with the support as
this may easily damage the sump tank.
To replace the supports, simply reverse this
process.
Ensure that you replace BOTH supports
BEFORE refilling the aquarium.
