Delivery
The systemfilter Skim is a modular system, delivered ready to use on a pallet.
It comprises the following components:
- pressurized sand filter as mechanic filter
- trickle filter filled with Bactoballs for biological treatment
- plastic tank as filter sump
- Turboflotor 10000
- UV-sterilizer (optional)
- circulation pump OK 51 B
- emergency overflow
- discharge

Description of the system
The water supply to the filter is realized via gravity. For this reason, the filter has to be placed below the
aquarium or tank. The diameters for the inlet pipes are: inlet D 90, pump pressure side D 50. The
maximum water level in the filter sump is marked by an overflow.
From the aquarium, the water flows into the filter sump by gravity and reaches the clear water chamber.
From there, it is sucked in by the circulation pump and divided by a T-piece. One part of the water, the
quantity is adjustable with a ball valve, is diverted to the trickle filter and flows back into the filter sump.
The waste water of the pressurized sand filter is connected to the drain (D 50).
