Errors display screen page
ERRORS DISPLAY
This screen page shows potential errors detected in the vehicle (ATT) or stored in the control unit (MEM)
and it allows to check error clearing (STO).
The function to distinguish between current or stor-
ed errors is not provided: errors are always indi-
cated with the word
MEM
(stored).
In order to identify whether an error is current or
stored, you should go to the "devices activation"
screen page and clear all the errors. If when the
device is connected again the error is displayed as
stored, this means that the error is current.
Some errors (coils, injectors, throttle valve, etc.)
are detected only when the engine is on.
Errors are not detected by the control unit if the
following circuits and the corresponding devices
are malfunctioning:
•
Vehicle speed (signal from sensor);
•
Fuel pump (activation by control unit).

Engine temperature sensor
Voltage equal to 0V has been detected at PIN D4 of the control
unit. The error status is always displayed as MEM (stored). In
order to identify whether an error is current or stored, it is ad-
visable to write down the error on paper so as not to forget it,
carry out the Error clearing operation and restart the vehicle: if
the error occurs again, this means it is current. Otherwise, it is
a stored error (carry out the specific checks anyway)
Engine temperature sensor
Voltage equal to 5V or higher has been detected at PIN D4 of
the control unit. The error status is always displayed as MEM
(stored). In order to identify whether an error is current or stor-
ed, it is advisable to write down the error on paper so as not to
forget it, carry out the Error clearing operation and restart the
vehicle: if the error occurs again, this means it is current. Oth-
erwise, it is a stored error (carry out the specific checks any-
way)
Barometric pressure sensor
This sensor is found inside the control unit and therefore cannot
be fixed
Short-circuited throttle valve sensor
A ground lead has been detected at PIN C3 of the control unit.
The error status is always displayed as MEM (stored). In order
to identify whether an error is current or stored, it is advisable
to write down the error on paper so as not to forget it, carry out
the Error clearing operation and restart the vehicle: if the error
