Fit the front sprocket cover (6), fit the
three screws (7), ensuring that the
bush (8) is fitted correctly in place, and
tighten the screws to the specified tor-
que.
•
Restore the drive chain to the correct tension, following the specific procedure described in
the "Adjustment" paragraph.

Removing
The transmission chain, although "closed", has a
different coloured hammerlock (where provided),
which should be used to perform opening / disas-
sembling procedures.
NOTE
WHERE PRESENT, THE HAMMERLOCK (1) MAY ALSO BE
IDENTIFIED BY A SIGN (2) APPLIED IN THE MOUNTING
LINES DURING MANUFACTURING.
To dismantle and remove the chain, proceed as
follows:
•
Partially remove the pins (3) using a
generic chain breaker.
