3.1 Front Panel
The front panel of the Netropy 100G contains:
CONSOLE
: Console interface using RS-232 with an RJ45 connector. See Section 8 for a pin-out
of the console interface.
MGMT
: Gigabit Ethernet interface with a standard RJ45 connector for management of the unit
over the network.
Power LED
: Lit green when the unit is powered on.

2 1/10/25/40/100 Gbps QSFP28 Ethernet interfaces. Jumbo frames of up to 9 KB
are supported. See Section 6 for details. The Link LED indicates link has been established, and
blinks to indicate activity.
Reset
: The small hole to the left of the console port is used to reset the system to the factory
default configuration. Reset capability is only active during system boot-up. To reset the
system, insert a paper clip or toothpick into the hole, reboot or power cycle the device, and
continue holding the reset switch for approximately 1 minute until the system reboots again.
